Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a wonderful start to your week and that the weather is as good as it is here in the UK (for once)!
For today’s post, I thought that I would write about some skincare bits that I have been enjoying using throughout the past few weeks! These products have been amazing on my skin, and I have definitely noticed a vast difference in the way that my skin feels, as well as looks. I should probably point out that I have normal-combination skin that can be quite sensitive to some skincare products – so just bear that in mind if you are thinking of trying out these products for yourself!
In terms of how I cleanse and moisturise my skin, I have already written a post discussing the La-Roche Posay collection that I use and those items are still what I use on a daily basis! This post just goes into more detail of how to clean your skin more deeply, and what products you can use to treat your skin to ultimately make your skin feel healthier and look glowing!
At this time of the year when the sun is causing more sweat and oil to appear on the skin, I think it is sooo important to use face masks so that all of the junk that is clogging your pores can get stripped away, but not too much that your skin loses its moisture! To achieve this, I have been using L’Oreal’s ‘Pure Clay’ face masks – more specifically, their ‘Detox Mask’ and ‘Glow Mask’, which both work amazingly but have different benefits for your skin!
The Detox Mask seen on me below works to detoxify and clarify the skin, which leaves you with unclogged pores and healthier looking skin thanks to the charcoal-enriched clay. Apply an even layer over your face (or problematic areas) and wait for 15 minutes or until the mask has fully dried, and then rinse off – easy enough, right?
Similarly, the Glow Mask works to nourish your skin in a different way – the red algae extract that is within the clay helps to brighten your skin and the fine apricot seeds work to exfoliate any dead and uneven skin, revealing your natural glow! Again, apply an even layer across the face and wait until the clay has dried before rinsing off.
I got these masks from Superdrug for £5.29 each, which I think is amazing for the benefits that your skin gains! I will leave the links to each of the masks below where you can look further into how they treat your skin!
Other products that I have loved having on my skin are these eye tissue masks from Garnier, that are enriched with orange juice and hyaluronic acid. These properties work to reduce eye bags and brighten the eye area, making your skin look much healthier and more awake! For £2.99 this mask is a great treat for your skin for those super tiring days!
Now, if you read my previous skincare post, you will know that I love using the La-Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Moisturiser, mainly because of the SPF 30 that it has within it, and the way that it makes your skin look all day long. However, it can be quite expensive to buy and can only be found in the bigger Boots stores which can be time consuming to get to – so, instead I have been loving this Garnier ‘Moisture Bomb’ Moisturiser which is much cheaper and still deeply moisturises my skin after every use! It will be great during the summer when your skin becomes much drier, so it is definitely worth a look!
Finally, I will leave you guys with some other products that I have been loving as equally as the ones I have mentioned above! Remember, some skincare products work best on certain skin types so make sure to do your research before buying a product that may not be much use to you!
As I said, I will leave all of the links for these products down below, so feel free to check them out – if you are in the UK, a lot of these products are in your general high street stores like Boots and Superdrug, so are quite easy to get your hands on! Let me know if you try out any of these products on your own skin, and of any other products that you think that I should try!
Have a great day, and I’ll see you all next week!
