Where Have I Been?! | Lifestyle

Hi Guys, I hope you are all having a great start to September! It feels like the start of Summer was only yesterday, now we are slowly drifting into Autumn – Is anyone else feeling a new wardrobe of clothes because I know I am! This post is just going to be a quick catch-up with you all about what I have been up to and why I haven’t posted for a while.

To be completely transparent, I had just lost my creative mindset from thinking too much about what everyone else wanted to read instead of what I wanted to create, and trying to find a balance between the two became really difficult. I have been working sooo much over the last two months to try and get some money together for fun and exciting things that I can look forward to in the future, but obviously with that brought less time for me to blog and create posts that I am really passionate about!

So, as I am typing this, I have just got back from work, and I am honestly so motivated to get back on track with what I love doing, and what I would love to do in the future – Yes, it is hard to balance a lot of things at once, and I did lose some confidence in writing as the break got longer and longer, but I am back full of ideas in regards to future posts and content that I can’t wait to share with all of you!

I have lots of exciting things coming up soon too, including the Northern Blog Awards which take place at the end of September, as well as travelling back to London to visit friends, and I look forward to sharing these experiences with you!

I am getting a bit of a plan going in my head about how I can achieve the things I want to achieve, whether that be travelling to more places, or about how I can start to progress in the career I want to be in! Even if sharing my experiences helps one of you, then that is enough for me to carry on doing what I’m doing, and create a diary for myself in the process.

The second half of 2018 has definitely been 100 times better than the start, and it can only go upwards from here! I am going to get a lot more organised with my time so that I can still work, as well as spend more of my energy on what I love to do.

Thanks for being patient, and I will be putting another blog post up on Friday for you all about Autumn Trends!

Have a great day!

James x
